The cascade occurs because genetic changes in food crops, animal feed, and in meat, damage the structure of food in ways that make it impossible for our bodies to respond correctly to them.
At best, this means that genetically modified foods are devoid of good nutrition. At worst, there is growing evidence that genetic mutations in food are likely to cause genetic changes in people, the impact of which will only be fully understood long after the damage to human DNA is irreversible.
