Since January, I have been learning about Essential Fatty Acids. For almost a year now, I have been trying a number of Essential Fatty Acids (in the form of oils), and learning about the individual value of each of them.
Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp Seed Oil (Cold Pressed) is unique with an almost perfectly balanced profile of Omega 9, 3 and 6. Uniquely among common seed oil, it also contains GLA (Gamma-linolenic Acid) and even more uniquely, raises circulating GLA.
Research around the world has shown that hemp oil (as can all essential fatty acids) boosts the body’s natural ability to heal and boost our immune systems.

If this is not scary enough, more Americans are succumbing to immune deficiency diseases than ever before. Sadly, it is ignorance of human nutritional needs, which will cause this overwhelming majority of Americans to die slowly from these afflictions — the greatest killers in affluent nations.

A Greenpeace study found that many fish oil supplements contained toxic chemicals and organochlorine pesticides. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Now called Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)) later confirmed these findings. A survey by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland examined a range of popular fish oil capsules for the presence of dioxins. Of all the fish oils, scientifically tested, Eskimo-3 was found to have the lowest level of contaminants, which included dioxins and dioxin-like PCBs. In addition, the concentration of heavy metal contaminants such as cadmium and mercury were below detection levels in Eskimo-3.
