In Memory Of Joyce Riley: An Inspirational Advocate, Broadcaster, And Friend

Joyce Ann Riley: July 31, 1948 – June 25, 2017
An Inspirational Advocate, Broadcaster, And Friend.

Joyce Ann Riley was welcomed into the world on July 31, 1948. Fittingly, she was born just outside Arkansas City, Kansas on the border with Oklahoma, in the heart of the United States. Eventually, Joyce would capture the hearts of millions of people around the world, including my own, becoming a trusted friend and mentor.

Her father owned a pharmacy while her mother was a stay-at-home mum. Joyce was the eldest of three children. One of her passions, as well as being on The Power Hour was quilting, a talent and pleasure inherited from her mother. Continue Reading

Back From The Brink: How Serrapeptase Changed A Life

I am very grateful to Molly Allan, for the following article, in which she offers a concise introduction to My Serrapeptase Adventure, together with her own commentary upon it.

Losing control of one’s health is most people’s worst nightmare. Even when we’re ill, we hope to maintain a reasonable quality of life. Without that, life becomes an endless array of doctors, pills and desperate attempts to manage symptoms. That was the state in which Mike Tawse found himself in 2006.

About Mike Tawse: One Man’s Story

Born in the U.S. and raised in the U.K., 44-year-old Mike Tawse has had cerebral palsy since birth.

A Dying Man Is Saved And Credits Serrapeptase

Naturally Health News: October 2010

Mike Tawse has had many challenges in his life. He was disabled at birth by cerebral palsy that also caused poor eyesight to the point that most considered him blind. He was given up for adoption by his American mother and was adopted by a British family and lost all contact with his beginnings.

In 1994, his health took a turn for the worse and illness progressed through his body for the next decade, and chipped away at his organs, his muscles and his resolve to live.

By 2005, Mike was on 14 prescription medications to maintain his painful existence and doctors did not give him much hope.

EU, Stop Killing Me With Your Undemocratic Directives

I would like to thank Naturally Healthy Publications for issuing the following press release.

Mike Tawse:
The Health-Care Survivor
Naturally Healthy Publications: July 2010

The one-way journey to Switzerland has been a constant feature in the press over recent years. Relatives of those who have upheld their ‘right to die’ have had media coverage and public sympathy has been on their side. But what about the right to live with vitality and to possess natural good health? The right of individual choice between a life that is led abundantly or precariously survived? True health is far more than freedom from disease, it is defined clearly by WHO.

My Serrapeptase Adventure In Print

Regular readers will know that my improving ability to read is among the most precious and surprising gifts of My Serrapeptase Adventure. My ability to read has improved, gradually, but consistently, since my eyesight and visual perception began becoming clearer in November 2006.

I still need a lot of practice, and must make a considerable effort to improve my fluency, but reading is already a much more useful pleasure than it ever was, before my adventure started.

Some time ago, I heard that The Serrapeptase Guy, Robert Redfern, had decided to include an introduction to My Serrapeptase Adventure in the 2009 edition of his book: The ‘Miracle’ Enzyme is Serrapeptase – The 2nd Gift from Silkworms, with the title, From Wheelchair To Wings. Continue Reading

Robert Redfern Talks About My Serrapeptase Adventure

My Serrapeptase Adventure began when a friend told me about The ‘Miracle’ Enzyme, Serrapeptase and asked me to help her find more information about it on the internet. One of the greatest gifts I found that day was a series of clips from radio interviews from The Power Hour radio show, with Robert Redfern, The Serrapeptase Guy, which enabled me to learn more about Serrapeptase without having to read vast quantities of text – something which my eyesight would not have enabled me to do at the time.

The 2009 edition of the book, The ‘Miracle’ Enzyme is Serrapeptase – The 2nd Gift from Silkworms, includes The Mike Tawse Story – From Wheelchair To Wings. Continue Reading

The Power Hour: Serrapeptase And The HealthPoint

Today, I had the pleasure of being invited to join The Power Hour, to update the show’s regular listeners with my progress and to introduce new listeners to Serrapeptase and the remarkable story of My Serrapeptase Adventure. Later in our conversation, Joyce Riley and I welcomed Robert Redfern, to discuss the HealthPoint. Robert also answered a number of listener’s questions. Continue Reading

Joyce Riley: The Power Hour — Inspiring Change And Mike Tawse

From its very earliest days, My Serrapeptase Adventure has been as much about the kindness and inspiration of people from around the world, as it has been about my continuing search for good health.

Joyce Riley, and all The Power Hour team, have been, and continue to be, a constant source of information, encouragement and inspiration. It was Joyce’s interviews with Robert Redfern, which gave me the information I needed, and the confidence to try Serrapeptase for the first time, in January 2006, long before my eyesight was good enough to read the information for myself.

It is for this reason that I am in no doubt that without The Power Hour, my life would have been very different, and I may not have survived at all. Continue Reading
