And one of the most effective remedies for dealing with destructive emotions is to cultivate loving-kindness on the basis of the oneness of all 7 billion human beings.
The manner of giving is worth more than the gift. Anything offered can be enhanced by the spirit of the giver. Give because you want to touch someone. Put your creative twist on every gift so the receiver knows they have a special place in your heart.

Know the true value of time; snatch, seize, and enjoy every moment of it. No idleness, no laziness, no procrastination; never put off till tomorrow what can be done today. Procrastination causes depression because you live in a state of anxiety, dread and guilt. All time is of equal value. Sunday night, Wednesday morning. An hour is an hour whether you waste it or use it cleverly. When you put these moments to good use, you value yourself and feel good.
